Webiq, Inc. (“Web IQ”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at usewebiq.com and the Web IQ conversion-analysis product. This policy explains what we collect when you use Web IQ, why, and the rights you have over your data.

This policy covers our website, dashboard, API, and the Web IQ MCP server. It does not cover third-party sites you scan or link to — those are governed by their own policies.

We collect only what we need to run the product:

• Account data — your email address and authentication details, handled by our auth provider.
• Scan data — the URLs you ask us to scan and the public page content we crawl and analyse to find conversion, design, and SEO leaks.
• Usage data — basic logs (timestamps, error traces, coarse device/browser info) needed to operate and secure the service.
• Messages — anything you send us through the contact form or by email at legal@usewebiq.com.

We use your data to provide the service (run scans, generate fix prompts, power the dashboard and MCP server), to secure and improve the product, to respond to your requests, and to comply with our legal obligations. We process data on the legal bases of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating a secure product, and your consent where required.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we do not use your scan content to train third-party models beyond what is required to generate your results.

Web IQ sends crawled page content to our AI sub-processor to analyse it and write fix prompts. Only the content needed for the analysis is sent, and it is used solely to produce your results.

We keep account and scan data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards where needed for legal, security, or backup purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated scan data at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, reach us through our contact form or at legal@usewebiq.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and per-user data isolation — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to notify you of any material breach as required by law.

We rely on a small set of trusted infrastructure providers to run Web IQ:

• Cloud infrastructure providers — secure hosting and data storage.
• Authentication providers — account access and security.
• AI processing providers — page analysis and fix-prompt generation.

Our providers may process data in regions outside your own. Where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Web IQ is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
